Following completion of a 1st class honours degree in Psychology in Queens University Belfast, Mr. Moran studied Medicine in The Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. He attained his FRCS in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2015 with diploma in Otolaryngology and a Masters in Surgery during training in the RCSI. His fellowship in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery was with distinction from The Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane, Queensland Australia. In 2016 Mr. Moran was appointed as a Consultant in The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and Temple Street Children’s Hospital ENT Departments. He continues to work in Temple Street but has recently been appointed as Consultant ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon in The Mater and St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Mr. Moran has an interest in General Ear, Nose and Throat conditions, both Adult and Paediatric and is available on Wednesdays for outpatient appointments in Otology, Rhinology, Sinus Surgery and Allergy.
Mr. Moran’s sub specialty interest is in Head and Neck Surgery which includes investigation and treatment of Laryngeal and other Head and Neck Cancers, Benign conditions, Salivary Gland, Thyroid, Parathyroid and Voice. He completed the first Robotic Cases in Head and Neck Surgery in Ireland in 2018 in St Vincent’s and is the only Surgeon in Ireland trained and practicing Transoral Robotic Surgery.
