Dr. John Holian

Education & Experience

• John Holian is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons.
• He completed his specialist training in Nephrology in Australia in 2009 and obtained a PhD from Sydney University in the area of diabetic nephropathy, followed by a fellowship in renal transplantation at the Royal Free Hospital, London.

Clinical Research and Professional Memberships

John returned to Dublin in 2010 as Consultant Nephrologist at St. Vincent's University Hospital, and is an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine and Medical Science, UCD. He has chaired the research committee of the Irish Nephrology Society and is lead nephrologist on the Kidney-Pancreas transplant program.
