Ms. Mary Barry

Bio/About

Mary is a graduate of RCSI and completed her Basic and Higher Surgical Training in Ireland and the United Kingdom.  She completed a two year research programme in Beaumont Hospital and RCSI resulting in an MD Thesis focussing on the physiological and immunological responses to aortic surgery.  She completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery in The Erasmus University Hospital, Rotterdam before being appointed as Consultant Vascular Surgeon to St. Vincent’s University Hospital in 2002.  Mary has co-authored over seventy peer-reviewed publications in vascular surgery.
