About our service
Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the vascular system, or arteries, veins and lymphatic circulation, are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures and surgical reconstruction.
The team at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital provides a comprehensive vascular surgical service covering conventional and endovascular therapies for a wide range of arterial and venous conditions. The most modern methods of diagnosis and management of vein disorders are used, which usually allow early return to activity when compared with conventional surgery.
The team work in close conjunction with the interventional vascular radiology service and also provide vascular laboratory services. Treatment is tailored to the needs of each patient.
