Please call the service immediately if you develop a temperature of 38 degrees or above.

Please call an ambulance or go directly to your nearest Emergency Dept if you experience any episode of:

  1. Chest Pain
  2. Difficulty Breathing
  3. Bleeding that is not stopping

The Triage Call Process:

  1. Your call is answered by our Oncology Reception Team.
  2. Details of your symptoms will be logged and your call priortised.
  3. The triage nurse call will then call you from a PRIVATE number so please pick up.
  4. During busy times there can be delays and your call may be returned after 5pm.
  5. If your call is not triage related we will direct you to a number to address your query.
  6. Where appropriate we will list you for a bed with our admission department and they will contact you when one becomes available.
  7. While we do our very best to facilitate our patients' needs, please be aware that we cannot guarantee immediate admission to St. Vincent's Private Hospital.
