Dr Kamel is medical oncologist specialist and expert in gynaecological, gastro-intestinal and head and neck cancers. Dr Kamel received her degree from Cairo University in 2000 with first class honours. After completion of the internship, she moved to Ireland and had completed her General Professional Training in Internal Medicine.
During her career, Dr Kamel have had worked in various University Cancer Centers within Ireland, gaining valuable experience in medical oncology. She also had completed fellowship training at Queen's University Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario in Canada in 2016, where she received international specialized training in medical oncology. During her training, she acquired and upgraded the clinical expertise to deliver world class care in management of cancer.
Throughout her professional journey, she showed high interest and was keen to be involved in research . Her dedication for research is evidenced by my continuous audits and publications. Overall Dr Kamel has 14 publications in peer review journals besides her involvement in audits, national and international presentations. Additionally, she had been involved in quality improvement projects to improve patient centered care. Overall, Dr Kamel remains dedicated and prioritize to delivering individualised, research-backed support to individuals battling cancer.
