His educational details include a BSc(Hones), MB, BAO, BCh (Hons), BMedSci, MCh, FRCS(Tr&Orth). He acquired basic surgical training and higher surgical training in Ireland, while his Fellowship training was completed in Sydney and New York. Current memberships includes RCSI and BOOS and he has worked at St. Vincent's University Hospital consultant since 2004
