Education and Experience
Mr Boland completed his undergraduate training in University College Dublin in 2010 and completed Higher Surgical Training in Ireland in 2021. He undertook a competitively appointed TIG National Breast Oncoplastic Fellowship in Imperial College London in 2022, where he was subsequently appointed as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon. He commenced his post as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in SVPH in Summer 2023.
Areas of interest include oncoplastic treatment of breast cancer with a specific focus on breast conserving surgery with mammoplasty, partial/whole breast reconstruction as well as a special interest in the management of axillary disease.
