About/Bio
- Mr. Khoo is a UCD Associate Professor and Head of Department in Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery, SVUH. Following completion of Higher Surgical Training in Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery, he spent time in Otology training at Uniklinik Cologne, Germany, before embarking on a Neuro-Otology / Lateral Skull base fellowship at Toronto General Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada, as the Thomas Wickham Jones (TWJ, UK) Fellow. He pioneered endoscopic ear surgery in Ireland and is faculty lead for endoscopic ear surgery at the RCSI National Temporal Bone Dissection Course. He has a specialist interest in Otology, Neuro-Otology and vestibular disorders. He is committed to training and is the Training Programme Director for ENT SpRs in Ireland.
