About Daycare
St. Vincent's Private Hosptial provides a consultant-led investigative and surgical day care services across a full range of services for patients referred by their GPs or consultants.
Located on the second floor of the hospital, we offer 3 state-of-the-art endoscopy rooms in our Diagnostic Day Care Centre, a fully functional operating theatre, an expanded Urodynamics Department and 30 day case
trolley bays, which accommodate an average of 50 patients daily. Our location close to the main theatres also facilitates a safe and stress-free transfer of patients to and from surgery in these theatres.
All patients need a GP/consultant referral to access our day care services.
Our Daycare Ward
Our 30 bay day care ward cares for all endoscopy and surgical day case patients admitted to the hospital. We also offer Daycare service on Rowan Ward on the 4th floor.
Our clinical nurse managers lead a team of skilled nursing staff who provide an enhanced experience to the patients while ensuring world-class standards of care in a department with a rapid turnover of patients. Along with the procedures outlined in our various procedure rooms, patients also attend for therapeutic venesection, invasive radiological, urological and gynaecological
investigation and treatments.
